Why was 399 second seed??? On tiebreak (auton) they were way behind 2984. I don't get it...

The tiebreak applied to 987, not 2984. 2984 only had 18 QS, 399 and 987 had 20--and QS is the first sort.

QS, then auto, then climb, then telop/foul, then random.

399 was 10-0-0, 2984 was 9-1-0. Tiebreak doesn't apply there. The tiebreak was between 987 and 399.

Grumble -- I was looking at the "final standings" as all were 8-0-0. Sigh. Silly thing still hadn't refreshed. Sigh...

Never mind!

987 and 399 were the only undefeated teams. First order sort is still QP

Yeh... was looking at the standings for 8 matches, thinking it was done -- dunno why red alliance stuff doesn't always refresh nicely.

was an observation based upon incomplete information. :-)

that's my story, and i'm sticking to it!

Granted, I hardly watched any of the SD qualifiers, but I went back and watched most of the eliminations. How on Earth did 4322 fall that far in the draft? They were terrific!

We wondered the same thing! We started to get nervous when there were only 3 picks left. Thought maybe we'd done something to offend all of the alliance captains.
