Chairman's DVD Menu

I just finished putting together our Chairman's Award video and am currently working on burning the DVD; however I cannot remember if it was acceptable to put a menu on the DVD so the user doesn't have the video play as soon as the disc is loaded.

Does anyone know if they want a specific format on the DVD itself?

I would assume that they would want a DVD that plays when put in. We always just go without a menu, just easier for the people trying to get the video to play on the big screen. Having to wait for a menu to go through its loop would be pretty annoying.

Thanks! I think I'll make two version and just ask the judges which one they want.
