Talking Re: 2013 Israeli Regional

The Final series was really amazing! only those who were there the whole competition can understand how dramatic that last game was. Miscar (1574) had an amazing robot, a real masterpiece in a way (out of many other bots in this regional, like the one by ThunderBolts (2630), to name one), but sometimes a good strategy can flip everything around. that net, i believe, was installed only 2 games before that. genius! my deepest bow to the winning alliance and the rest of the teams - thanks to you, me and my friends (and a whole stadium, i'm sure) had a blast!
thank you and see you again next year! ^^

Winning or loosing is not the real value of FIRST. Designing a robot that fulfill all the mission's sub-tasks and play a fair game without an intentional strategy to disturb the flow of the game is much more noble. Imagine that there is a rule that you are allowed to use special shoes and jump with a net in your hands to stop any ball that is on its way to the basket. What a ridiculous game - basketball will turn to be .
