IT looks kind of familiar to me..... Maybe you need to get video of your 2002 robot without the boxes on the ramp...

Re-upped.

If the video link goes down, then it's being reuploaded to fix some spelling issues that SuperJake hasn't quite mastered yet.

And, if you look closely enough, you may see something new yet on that ramp. You should be more observant ;p

Isn't that still last year's robot with new wheels and a extended arm? I remember seeing you add new wheels to last year's robot in your last video

or they might have realized that its good for your score to give them some points because you get double that. Reminds me of your robot last year though. Wide, tall(well same shape upwards). You probably could have just modified last years, maybe thats what you did do. We will have to wait and see.

It is their last years robot. Duh. Look at the grill. Two robots are coming up the ramp. The other one is much shorter and you don't notice until the umpteenth watching- your eye is drawn towards the light that FIRST has trained us to watch for...

Nice under the bar bot, MOE. Can't wait to see it. If last years was Moehawk, what's this years?

Or in the style of Philip Roth...

That's one man's opinion. Fella' name a Replic.

Dude, I don't know what your smoking, but I've watched that 1 umpteenth and 1 times and haven't seen two bots yet. I've watched the grill. I've watched the sides. I only see one and it's last years bot.

Talking

Don't smoke. It's a horrible habit, hence the hefty assonance.

I've watched it at least 20 times, before and after posting my theory on the 2 bots. I see 2 on the grill. Either I'm wrong or it's a trick of the light.

there is definitely something moving (besides the robot that goes over the ramp) on the other side, but I think its a person, not another robot

I'm with you- if you watch the reflection from the red light you can know that there was only one robot on the ramp..

Guys- its pretty obvious to me- they just added a foot to the bottom of last year's robot, which would raise the arms to 2 feet above- and thats where the bins were knocked over from

Looks Good Moe!
Our Bot is capable of doing that as well, but we sorta found out it was a bonus to our design...
If you guys are planning on coming to VCU again this year, I hope we get teamed up!

As much as it would please me to divulge all of the secrets behind MOEv2003... I won't (most of the team things I've already given away the best secrets). Because it is even more fun to watch what people come up with in speculation. I could say that yes, there are two robots. One on top of the other. The one on top is our old robot with a hover conversion (preformed in the late 23rd century) and the one on the bottom is our unpainted 2003 'bot. Or, I could say that the robot shown is completely new with a chassis that slightly resembles that of MOEHawk.

This is what I can confirm (which you should already have picked up in the video):

1) MOEv2003 will be MOE Green.

2) MOEv2003 may or may not have a drive train that includes wheels.

3) MOEv2003 can push boxes over.
[edit]
4) MOEv2003 will be appearing at the Chesapeake Regional, The Philadelphia Alliance Regional, and The National Championship events.
[/edit]
As for the name, we won't finally decide that until closer to the ship date... but we do have a running list of names including (but not limited to): MOElenium Falcon, The TerMOEnator, and MOEbot. Those will most likely _not_ be names that will make it past the first round of voting, but they are the funniest ones. I also have pictures of the first parts to be painted green, but I haven't posted them yet.. look for those later on tonight (1/28/03).
