Go to Post I got something totally different from my FIRST experience. to me the spirit of FIRST is all about sharing. during the 6 week build period, you share yourself with the other people on your team. at the competition, you share your creation with everyone who watches your 'bot play the game. - George1902 [more]

Re: camera Axis M1011 problem

With both your computer and the camera plugged into the router, can you access the camera directly by going to http://10.43.72.11 in your web browser?

Re: camera Axis M1011 problem

The default Dashboard is setup to show a camera image only when the camera is connected to the DLink and setup by the camera tool for that configuration.

The code you posted is for connecting the camera to the cRIO, not to the Dashboard.

Where do you have the camera connected and how did you set it up?

Re: camera Axis M1011 problem

See if the Dashboard is displaying a Mbps value, just not a picture.

The default camera settings are too bandwidth intensive and will result in a blank screen on the Dashboard.
The settings need to be changed on the Dashboard and are interactive, so once the settings are reduced below about 5Mb/s an image should appear.

To start with, try settings of:
- 320 x 240
- 10 fps
- 50% compression

See this example of the camera controls:
