I don't know how you can blame a robot getting stuck in the goal on the GDC. The field drawings showed all of the dimensions of the goals. If a team doesn't want to risk getting stuck then they need to plan around it. - JamesBrown [more]

Any photos by chance? It would be interesting to see them.

Where I'm headed with the discussion is the notion of getting basic system designs vetted out early. As the time and cost get smaller for something that fits in your hand, the more it may make sense to take a near-schematic level design and print it out.

Eager to hear everyone's thoughts, and other means that printing has helped them out in the season.
