2013- FRC Lenape-Seneca District event

Wow is all i have to say about this event. Our team had a great time and was able to have a blast, now for some congratulations and thanks.

1647,293
I don't know what else to say other than you shocked us by selecting us. It seemed that the alliance was meant to be as both of you have helped us greatly. 293, thanks for getting us started as without you we wouldn't even be around. 1647, wheater its helping us make a arm our rookie year or helping us wire you guys always help. Even though we lost in Quarters it was awesome being able to play in elimination with you guys.

316,2729,2495
Congratulations on winning as you were one of the best alliances i have ever seen. 316 your floor pick up was crazy, same with you 2495. 2729, your full court shooter was good and close to the ranks of 225.

2729
Thanks you for helping us get our parent foundation even better we appreciated the help. Also congrats on the Chairman's award.

Re: 2013- FRC Lenape-Seneca District event

A giant thanks to teams 1647 and 2729 for putting on this wonderful event. The venue was terrific, and you all ran a class act event.

Thanks to Joe Troy and the rest of the FTAs and field staff. I know there were some issues, but you guys worked through them to ensure everyone had a fair and fun event. I can't imagine the amount of patience that took. Thanks for everything you did!

A GIGANTIC thanks to our alliance partners, 1923 and 1279. It was a pleasure to finally align with both of you. You were terrific partners who were willing to be flexible and work together to achieve a common goal. I was really excited after alliance selection about how our alliance shaped up. I wish we could have pulled off a 9/9 autonomous mode like we did on the practice field, but we did get awfully close in SF1-1. Sorry that we started missing autonomous shots in the last two matches. 1923, thanks for believing in us even after we had so many issues in Hatboro and on Saturday. You guys are a really inspiring organization.

Congratulations to 365, 1089, and 433. If we had to lose to any alliance, I wanted it to be yours. Three class act teams that we always have fun competing with and against. You were excellent competitors, who really stepped up your game when you needed to. MOE, we need to break this annual thing of facing against each other. 4 of the past 5 years we've done that. Hopefully one time we can finally get together!

Outstanding work from the Champion alliance of 316, 2729, and 2495. None of you were to be taken lightly, and were truly something special when you were working together. A special congratulations to Storm for their double gold. Can't think of a more deserving team!

Thanks to everyone else I forgot. Had a blast this weekend.

316, 2729, 2495...all I have to say is hell yeah!

Nate and 2729, you are an awesome group of people, so happy you got double gold today.

Brandon and 2495: <3 That is all.

I caught some moments of the finals on the webcast while watching Mt. Olive in person, but could people please post up video if they recorded elims matches? Would be greatly appreciated.

Seneca HS was rocking that entire weekend. I wonder if the building is still shaking from the enthusiasm everyone brought to the competition.

Sean, thank you for throwing 2729's mention in above but all of the credit goes to 1647's students, mentors, and parents. It takes a well machined group to pull off off what they did and we are extremely lucky to have them as a sister team within our school District. So from 2729, thank you to our District, Seneca HS, and the best sister team anyone can have!

316 and 2495 - Wow, what an awesome alliance to go through eliminations with. I couldn't have dreamt of better people to be working with through eliminations. Your teams and robots are top notch and I can't wait to see video of our alliance in action from above.

365, 1089, and 433 - Talk about competitors and role models for a relatively young team, your strategy and execution were some of the best we saw during the competition. We've watched you all since our start 5 years ago and hold each of you in the highest regard.

225 - It seemed like everyone came in preparing to play you and your cross field shooting and you kept your cool with all of the t-shirts, pool noodles, and PVC everyone put in front of your robot. Your all awesome people and I can't wait to chill more with you all at MAR Champs.

Thank you to everyone for the warm congrats on our success this past weekend. The whole experience was totally surreal and is one that we will treat with the highest respect.

I've been participating in FRC for 14 seasons, student --> mentor --> teacher/coach, and finally have the first banner. Folks, keep doing what you believe is right and work to do it well. No matter what the success, it does pay off on a daily basis and will blow you away when all of the cards fall into place.

Nate

Re: 2013- FRC Lenape-Seneca District event

I found the elimination vids and some qualifications on 316s page here.

316 & 2729: As soon as you two paired up I knew it was going to be something awesome. You should have seen my face when you selected us for your third. Not only were your bots amazing but your teams are incredible and filled with awesome people to work with. Props to 2729 for the double blues!

1089, 365, and 433: You've all been having an awesome season and going against you was anything but easy. Special thanks to 1089 who has helped us tremendously since our rookie year. Not even a couple matches before finals you guys were giving us tips and a couple more hands. You guys are awesome.

Hopefully we'll get to see all you at MAR!

Thank you Nate. It was great to meet you and the rest of the 2729 crowd--you are all awesome people too, and I can't wait to meet up with you guys again at MAR champs. Big congratulations on your double blue banner--you guys deserve it.

Big congrats to 316 and 2495 as well. You guys are class acts and have outstanding robots. Three very deserving teams walked away event champions.

Thanks to 1403 and 203--it was great working with you guys in the elimination rounds. We almost had it.

Thanks to 1647 and 2729 for putting on the event. It was extremely well organized, and everyone on our team walked away very pleased with how it went.

Re: 2013- FRC Lenape-Seneca District event

Thanks to 1647 and 2729 for once again holding a great event!

Congrats/thanks to

All the wonderful volunteers who ran the event. There were some stops and starts, but we ended on time each day. Great job!

2729 - Congrats on your Chairman's win! Well deserved. You have a terrific team! Love the video! Sorry we missed some of the audio. Is it up on YouTube?

321 - Congratulations on the Engineering Inspiration Award! Thanks for inspiring so many!

316, 2729,2495 - Congrats on your win! Once all the alliance pairings were complete, I knew your alliance was the one to beat. You played so well together.

225 - Kudos on your strategy and execution! Your team changed this event. I have never seen so many 60-84" robot modifications before! I was amazed by your accuracy shooting full-court 3-pointers in the semi-finals. Wow!

1089 and 433 - Thanks for being our alliance partners. It was by no means an easy ride, but we all did what we needed to to get our alliance to the finals. Sara, thanks for the excellent strategy input. Firebirds comp team - thanks for giving us the final "push" which resulted in our MOE hang in the final seconds. You almost got a 10-pointer too! That's what teamwork is all about. I loved the alliance cheering coming together in the stands with the MOE wobblies, FIREBIRDS letters, and 1089 numbers all together. That made me smile.

Lenape Woodie Flowers Finalist Award Nominees - The teams in attendance at this event have some awesome mentors! You should all be very proud and thankful to be working with them. I was happy to be able to announce their names. Good luck at MAR Championship! To all teams, please recognize your mentors by nominating them every season! These people do so much. This is a great way to say THANK YOU for all you do.

Lenape is a great venue for a MAR event and a favorite of MOE 365.

To all teams, have a memorable rest of the 2013 season!

John

Thanks John! That really means a lot coming from you and MOE. The audio was on two separate tracks which didn't work coming out of the TV truck. We'd definitely like to share the video and will post it here as soon as it's available.
