To store and render a 30 second add is beyond the capacity of many computers all though hard drives are getting larger and the price is getting lower, but even so. Make sure your system can hold the program and then produce it.
Keep it simple to begin and then add to it. Watch out for reflections and shadow mapping, this can add "days" to your rendering speed. Nick237
