Okay

I was going to say... (I did, actually, to Ian...) "This...coming from a team who's teaser was a rock."

In fact, to my knowledge, nobody has done anything that emulates the challenges we are facing in making this strategy work correctly. As that is the case, I have yet to decide if I want want the entire community to see our potential failures, or if I would rather wait and share with them our success (and sweep failure under the carpet)
That's what our mentor is expressing.

Heh, I posted that up to basically point out how useless the majority of these 'teasers' have been.

Aside from vauge allusions, our robot will be kept secret, except to our sister team, until the very end of the build time. Then we will release some vauge photos, but the rest will have to wait till our first regional.

Good luck all

Fiziks is an unknown quantity at this point
drill motor

if our motors are fast and strong enough in the configuration we have them in, our robot should be able to do the "liquid" form of breakdancing. And i mean BREAK-dancing, if a normal human tried this out, their arms or legs would be dislocated in four places. We're also thinking about a cool light holder thingy. Vaporware at thsi point.

Strategy Tactic #14

Stay in the shadows. If knowledge is power: the more secret you are, the more successful you will be. If you remain completely unknown you will be completely invincible.

Thoughts on this people.............

My compliments to all of you teams who are showing off what they have so far, good work.
All the posts sound possible....another possibility is that there are teams that design stuff that plain out and out fails to function....and they end up cobbling together backup stratigies....or just hacking off subsystems. (for weight sometimes too)

What embarresment there would be if there were pictures of a robot with "extra" subsystems that never made it to the prom.

Oh well....
