I think no foul should be called. We had a nearly identical situation happen with our robot and another robot trying to block us, and no foul was called on either side.

The situation would be different if Redbot popped a wheelie first, however,

Redbot is not making contact outside of its bumper zone, and certainly not intentionally.

Such is the cost of heavy defence.

I generally agree with the assessments here - unfortunately the head ref did not .



I would hate to be in their position, making hundreds and hundreds of calls during a single regional and being scrutinized on each one.
