Need More Basketball Game Pieces

Does anyone have any spare basketballs from Rebound Rumble that they are willing to part with? We had 4 at one point and 3 of them fell out of the back of the pickup truck on the way to Regionals last year. Our last one is pretty beat up, there's hardly and orange coating left and the foam has many holes in it. =(

We are putting on a few fundraising events and would like to have some more for demonstrations. I've been checking in on AndyMark but they're website says they have been out of stock for awhile. Thanks a bunch!

In case you don't find any right away....after Lunacy, we needed some more "moon rocks" to demonstrate the robot, they were unobtanium. We discovered that $1 inflatable plastic balls available at Walmart worked great, when inflated to the correct pressure.

so, I suggest you go shopping

There are also some others online that look like they might be a close match although not quite as cheap. Do a search for Voit tuff coated foam basketball or Poof foam junior basketball. Both look similar to what we were using although I have no personal experience with either.

Possible better deal.

Where can I find 2012 Game pieces?

Hey Chief Delphi,
Is there a place that sells the 2012 game pieces? Andymark has stopped selling them. They don't have to have the first logo or anything. We use them for demonstrations and they get chewed up fast so we need to buy a few more, but we are having no luck at finding them.
Thanks

Those are too small....thats the game piece that was used in 2006.
While i haven't found any from 2012 i have found those (2006) at a
"Ollies" outlet a few miles from us. I would guess there is some of the
2012 game pieces or and equivalent out there somewhere.

Re: Where can I find 2012 Game pieces?

Gopher quit selling the non-official version of the 2012 game piece soon after the start of the build season that year, I got one of the last boxes they shipped.

Back in 2009, we needed some game pieces for our Lunacy robot, and discovered that we could buy inflated plastic balls at Walmart for a dollar apiece, that could be adjusted in size (via inflation pressure) to work great with our robot that year.

You might see if this works for you?

Rebound Rumble Game pieces

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some basketballs for the Rebound Rumble game! Ours are pretty beat up and we'd like to buy some new ones. Is there anywhere online I can find these? Or is there any replacement that is similar (like a NERF basketball or something)? Thanks!
