Window Motor Gear??

Dose anyone know where we could get the gears for the window motors. Its the gear that works with the window motor tape, that have been provided in the KIT in previous years.

This year we were given an adapter for that gear in the kit. it has a keyed shaft output. As for the track drive and gear, do a search. I remember a thread discussing this.

The New adapter

Does anyone know how sturdy that black plastic adapter is?

not strong..

If you stall the window motor against the adapter, it will bust. Our mechanical engineer mentor did the calcs, and the weak point in the adapter is in the key section.

We cnc'ed our own our of Al (complete w/ splined socket)

If you can't make the whole thing, i would cut the keyed shaft adapter off (leaving the flange) and I would make another flange that bolts onto it with a shaft that comes out of it.

It was actually steel. Fits like a glove too.
