No, Megaphone and Division Notifier (or any other FRC service I build in the future) won't send you spam text messages, and your phone number will never be given out to anyone. I build these services for the community, not to sell phone numbers.

I've been using megaphone all season and have had no issues. That only happens when numbers are sold to third parties.

I believe HQ's target is 408 FRC teams this year. As of this post, TIMS is returning that only 393 teams are registered for championships. If they were to release divisions now it would be... highly unexpected.
