Re: championship divisions?
See attachment. I was bored. I'm sure awesome gee whiz scouting spifftasticness will be published by others eventually.
Very basic, but at least somewhat orderly. I used a copy of the OPR Results tab from Ed Law's spreadsheet to grab the Max OPR's. |

When I got home from work my facebook wall had exploded with people chanting the names of dead scientists.
Did someone say culture change? ![]() |

I'm sure Zach will use the FMS page in the future. FRCMega has been a great addition to our community created apps & services. FMS page would be easier to parse for the an SMS generating script anyway, since it is designed to be parsed by a computer. I personally use the FMS pages all the time anyway. They are way easier to paste into spreadsheets and always on 1 page. |

Re: championship divisions?
Has anyone been able to figure out an algorithm for the division assignments?
There seems to be a pattern in that international teams are grouped in specific divisions. Israel: 2 each in Galileo, Newton, and Curie. Mexico: 3 Archimedes, 2 Curie, but 1 Newton. Australia: Archimedes, Galileo Netherlands: Galileo Turkey: Newton. Brazil: Galileo By Team Number: ACANGAGAGCNGAANNNGCGNGCNGANNCNCGNANNNNGCNNNGNCCCAG AACGNNAAAAGGNNGC Any guesses? |

So that's how they assign divisions!

My bad. I was too lazy to parse the Canadian teams. Again, my bad. Nonetheless, what do you think the powers that be used as an algorithm? In the past it was a simple ACGN repeating, this year... IDK. Is there a pattern of Regional winners being equally spread through the divisions? |

Re: championship divisions?
Just FYI, with all of the hype about divisions last night, we set a new record for most users online on Chief Delphi, with 918 users online simultaneously.

Re: championship divisions?
This has probably been discussed several times in the history of CD, but I'm a relative newcomer. <type=rhetorical>Isn't there something wrong that CD can stay up under a load that brings down the FIRST servers?</type>
