Team awards to be given out at Championships

I was wondering if any other teams are doing awards to be given out at Championships. Just wondering what some of the awards that will be given out are called or how they're made so that I can make more ideas for next year's awards.

SPAM will be doing our award cans again this year and I am in charge of them.

Re: Team awards to be given out at Championships

This year was our first year making awards to hand out. We made 8 awards for each of the regionals we attended and have mad more for Championships! The awards are Imagery, Spirit, Gracious Professionalism, Coolest Pit, Best Mascot, Rising Star, Nicest Bumpers, and Best Looking Robot. We cut them out in our laser on blue plexi glass and then painted them to look like little blue banners. We also have personalized mini blue banner awards for all the teams who won the Chairman' Award at their regional competition that we will also be giving out. I can't find a picture of the awards right now, but I'm really excited about them!

Re: Team awards to be given out at Championships

Team 3941 is also a first-time award-giver. We've given out four at each regional this year and are giving them at CMP too: Outreach, Generosity, Spirit, and Sportsmanship. We try to focus on teams that have a great start at or an exceptional example of one of these characteristics (often new teams, but not always) that might not get recognized for these qualities in the official awards ceremony.
All ours are 3D printed mini-trophies: we've been blessed enough to have the resources to do that. They also all have the same look-and-feel; they all are engraved lightning bolts (our team symbol) with our team name and number inset on the bolt and the award name inset on the base.

We design awards to give to other teams every year. From best alliance partner to best robot cart.

Team 116 will be presenting the "Excellence in Animation Award" for the Underground Society of Animators (USA). It will be presented at the beginning of the FIRST Has Talent show on Saturday evening of the FIRST Championship weekend.
