Battery Charger Circut
heyo, question.
have been looking online for some good battery charger circuts that can sense when the batt is full and shut off the power, they seem to be reffered to as smart chargers alot. all I can find is theese annoying ones that use a heat sensor to tell when the batt is done charging. that may work.. but i dont think i wanna play around with that. too many variables. if anyone happens across a decent scematic, id love to hear about it! Thanks alot ~Pyro |

You have to be more specific. Different battery types require different methods to charge them. Our gell cell batteries can be generally charged to a certain cell voltage. This years charger takes that one step further and checks the cell voltage with a load to determine charge and how much more is required. Nicads are fully charged when the battery has reached a peak in cell voltage and subsequent charging causes a reduction in cell voltage.
