Well... that looks like a globe motor. Aparently no reduction on first chain-sprocket stage. Looks like 2:1-ish reduction on second stage. So, your max torque at the hinge should be about 25ft-lbs. That's not a lot. So, the output section of this thing must be light and not intended to do any real muscle work.
But I am intrigued by the apparent lack of any kind of feedback (potentiometer or otherwise) on this articulated joint. I can only guess that this thing has been designed to simply unfold. Perhaps this is a ramp blocker device. Can't wait to find out for sure. -Joel
