This I am not suprised about. There is no substitute for incredible strategy discussion!
I was down on the floor with the other division finalists, and when the 254-225 score was shown, we all said "that doesn't seem right".
But, the amazing thing was the students/mentors on 610 were really "doing the math" to figure out how it was impossible for that score to occur. They were throwing numbers around so quickly, that my head was spinning trying to keep up.
I have no doubts that strategy sessions with students and team members from 610 would be incredibly detailed and explore all possible scenarios. Way too smart for me.
Congratulations to 1241, 1477, and 610 on an incredible World Championship win. Revel in the joy of winning a FRC Championship!
The hardest part is still ahead. Once you know what it's like, you never want to experience anything else ever again. Not winning just got 10X worse than it was before.
