I could use some help. I purchased a storage locker and in it were close to one hundred new never used most still in factory packaging air cylinders made by bimba. There are all different sizes and stroke lengths, there are two flat 1's. I priced all of this from the bimba web site and was amazed as to the value of it all. My problem is I have no idea where to sell this stuff and was hoping someone out there could point me in the right direction. I'm trying to let all of this go for a fraction of original price, 45 to 50% of bimbas price. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if you want to take the time, you can identify each one by the part number and that gives you diameter and stroke.

Then you could list them on ebay or Craigs List, or somewhere, and let people know. Depending on the sizes, teams might want to buy them if they are legit and common sizes and priced right.

If you can post the part number and other details on CD, CD community/FRC teams can buy from you, especially if we are getting discounts that you are talking about. We may be interested in buying few, if we get them cheap.

I'd take the above suggestion of ID'ing each part. At least by stroke and diameter. Then just post things on EBay and go from there. If you're looking for faster results, you might see if you have a local electronics/mechanical surplus store in your area. They might buy the lot off of you for a bulk price and then individually sell the cylinders off themselves. You won't get as much money, but you'll get it faster with less hassle.

To the other CDers who might respond, note our OP only has these two posts on CD, so he's probably not with a FIRST team. As such, posting the parts for sale/trade here on CD probably isn't going to get him the results he's after.

If you decide not to sell them i am sure there are many FRC teams in the area that would gladly take donations and then you could get the tax deductions.
