The CIM standoffs and the CIM screws are separated in our gearboxes. We have used PEM nuts in the gearbox for some time for fastening. They get pressed into the sheetmetal and work really well for us.

In hopes of not derailing the thread original purpose completely, I'd be curious in hearing from 1241 what we some of the specific changes they made this year and how they turned out for them. Would you guys do the same thing again?

If anyone is curious about 971's design this year or previous years, I'd be happy to discuss it offline.
