Resetting Radio
Hi Everyone,
We are a rookie team from New York and we were told at the competition that the D-Link radio needs to be "reset after the competition. Exactly how do I do that? I pressed and held the "reset" button for 10 sec. Nothing happened. What am I doing wrong? I guess I need to reset the IP address on my PC as well, correct? Thanks, A |

Re: Resetting Radio
This might be of use as well. It is a configuration utility offered by FIRST on this page:
http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...ical-Resources It includes instructions along with a file to automatically configure your radio after resetting it to default settings. But to answer your question, yes, after competition it is easiest to reset your radio since during competition they configure it to work with the competition field as well as a unique, secure security key. Following the instructions provided above should get your robot back to normal operating conditions in the shop. EDIT: 7h0m54 beat me to it. |
