New encoder for next year

This was already posted in the Electrical sub-forum, but not everyone ventures there. Our team has developed a new quadrature encoder that we are trying to get into production. Our goal is to move this component from the realm of custom circuit to COTS part that any team can use and benefit from.

We started a Kickstarter Project to fund the first batch of fully assembled units, and will know in two weeks if we can successfully move from prototype to production.
