Pursuing robotics at the university level

As it says in the title, I'm interested in continuing robotics into college (and hopefully finding a job working on robots!). I'm currently registered at my college-to-be as a computer engineer, but I'm considering switching to either ME or Comp Sci. While mechatronics would be the obvious choice, unfortunately my school doesn't offer it...yet Has anyone had a similar experience, or does anyone know what sort of major would be best for a job in the field? Thanks for the help!
