SMC valve leak?

When we recieved the smc double solonoid valve and assembled them, there was a leak out of the ports when the valves are in the off position. Also, we recieved two gaskets although the SMC website only specifies that there is one gasket. Is this a problem with the gaskets, something we recieved wrong, or our assmebly?

thanks,
team 1155

This has been discussed. But, for reference, only use the rubber pad that has guide holde for the screws and the leak goes away. Well, it did for us.
