Team 701 Robot in Dog Show

Last weekend our team hosted a Vex Demo Tournament at a local Fair in Dixon, CA, and setup a booth with our Ultimate Ascent robot. Turns out that we were right next to the dog show area where they do a frisbee dog routine. What a perfect opportunity!! Here's a quick video of them doing a practice run in the late morning, and then our robot joined them for the 4 o'clock show. After the show, local Frisbee Dog Champion Steve Teer approached us to do a video shoot this summer with his dogs and our robot. Should be fun!

Re: Team 701 Robot in Dog Show

I'm impressed that the dog was unphased by the shooter wheel noise.

Maybe FIRST should have had some well trained dogs to act as disc retrievers for when they left the field.

(probably bad) idea: next year, have a human player and an animal player (who wants a water game when you can have a lemur game?)
