[FTC]: Silicon Prairie Invitational FTC Tourney 6/28

Don’t put that Robot away- Illinois FIRST is excited to offer a Invitational tournament to registered FTC Teams. We are hoping you can consider making a trip to Chicago for the Silicon Prairie Invitational in June 28-29, 2013 The Silicon Prairie Invitational http://bit.ly/SPI-FTC will be held at Deerfield High School, about 25 miles north of Chicago and 30 minutes from O’Hare Airport. The SPI wants to celebrate the Ring It Up! season with a competition focused on the robots and game play.
The teams that are attending the SPI are quite talented and have had some great game performances. Four teams had high scores over 400 points, another three teams had high scores over 290. Nine teams are state FTC Champions or were members of the winning alliances. Many participating teams have won numerous other awards. We have teams from 6 states and 2 teams from Romania.

Check in will be late Friday afternoon and we will have 12 hours of tournament play on Sat with elimination matches Sat Afternoon/Evening). We will end the night with a great party with Laser Tag, Whirlyball, A Climbing Wall and pizza. Sunday is available for tourism in the city. http://bit.ly/SPI-FTC
