How to see replies to my posts

Is there anything like a notification system for this forum? I can't find anything that would let me know when there has been a reply to something I've posted. I would expect it to be in the same basic section as the private messages, but could anyone point me in the right direction?

I probably sound like a technologically-impaired n00b who has never used the internet a day in his live, but I'm having serious trouble finding this. I assume it exists...

Re: How to see replies to my posts

Yep, it exists. And it does show up in user cp (where reps/PMs show up)... but only if you activate it.

What you do: You go to the top of a thread, any page, where it says "thread tools". You click that, which will open a drop-down menu. One of the items on the menu is "Subscribe to thread". Click that, and it'll take you to a page where you can set up how you want to be notified when there is a response (instant, daily, weekly updates via email, or none).

To look at your subscribed threads, you open up the user cp (link at top) and it's above the reputation screen or under the "subscribed threads" section in the left sidebar.

Thanks so much. I take it there's no way to see only things that specifically quote your reply? Confusing...

Sadly, no. That would be a most welcome feature.

There's also no way to blacklist annoying threads that you don't want to see (like "BRONY" and "BAN the person above you" etc).

Are you wanting to ban them from your view in general, or from your portal?

I don't use the portal. It doesn't provide the functionality I want.

Like David, I want to quickly see all replies to any of my posts.

I also want to see all new posts in all threads (including new threads) except those in threads I have blacklisted.
