How about this: see if you can have some robots "run the bases". Maybe, to stay off the grass, just run from 1st to 3rd base. Pick lower profile robots and have a maximum of five?

Darn, so stay on the grass, the infield sand would be lousy on motors and gears.

But then again, a design challenge to insulate your robot, or use an older robot?

Just thinkin' out loud . . . . I mean, on-line . . .
