Uninstalling Max 5
Hey everyone this might sound kind of basic, but how does one go about uninstalling Max 5?? There's like no file or anything I can find to uninstall it. Thanks in advance.

Just go to your control panel, add or remove programs, and remove '3ds Max 5', which is the default program group.

This that the only way?? Max should really come with an uninstall function , Inventor does.

That is the uninstall function...I mean, it just uses unInstallShield. It's the same as if they made a program for it.
on another related note, you'll have to remove after uninstalling are the program groups and i think it leaves the root folder (it did on 3ds max4 atleast)... *jeremy |

soory i found this thread so late...or we could have helped really quickly...just pop in the cd that you installed. When you see the screen that says install 3ds max...click it. Itw ill then search for modified components,,,and will give you three choices. (add, modify, remove) Ithink those are the options. Any way click remove and in about 5 minutes its gone from your computer.
