Go to Post In my line of work, we affectionately refer to this approach as "Seagull Engineering". Why? Because we swoop in, flap around making a lot of noise and commotion, leave a big mess of "stuff" behind and then fly off. - billbo911 [more]

Comparatively speaking, this make his typical blue hair look down right boring.

He's speaking Spanish. It's clearly a plantain suit.

*A note about Wayne's score: while doing the final awards, I noticed there were 52 winners over the year--normally right, but I pulled the plug on contest #452. After some searching, it turns out I scored Wayne for a win in caption contest #433 when he had actually placed second. I apologize for letting this error ride for so long!

As usual, we have a few awards in tow:

Year 9 Champion: Taylor (172 points)
Year 9 Runner-Up: Wayne Doenges (151 points)

Most Wins: Wayne Doenges, Taylor, and GaryVoshol (7 each)
Always The Bridesmaid Award: EricH (106 points without winning a caption contest)
The Travis Hoffman Memorial Burn Award Award: Taylor and GaryVoshol (5 burn awards each)
The Mr. Clean Award: JaneYoung (127 points without a single burn award)
The Mr. Tenacity Award: rachelholladay (25 single-point entries this year--but still ninth place for the year!)
Part-Timer of the Year: Karibou (52 points on just 14 entries, most of anyone that entered less than half the time)
Perfect 52 Entries: Taylor, GaryVoshol, rsisk, and EricH entered all 52 caption contests this year. Also notable runs include cgmv123 and Wayne Doenges, each with 50 entries out of 52.

On to year number ten!
