Control gloves seemed like such a good idea until the teams high-fived each other and the robot went nuts on the field.

They won the Engineering award but totally lost the safety award.

Judge: "You actually stack a crate? I've never seen anybody actually stack a crate this year."
Student: "You're right...I just make it look like I do something for this award while our driver just drives around smashing into crates and knocking down stacks and tries to get on top of the ramp at the end."

"No, no - the gloves are just to cover up the ugy scars the cyborg conversion left. And if you just ate lunch, don't look where the wires go into the back of my head..."
