Goal Weight
Has anyone figured out how much a goal weighs?I've heard both 130 and 180. Grrr..
Once again, any info is appreciated. Thanks a million. --Ben Mitchell

At Manchester...
I remember someone (as I was watching the kickoff at Manchester) saying "these goals weigh 181 lbs" - hope this helps!

Our team weighed it in at approximately 170 lbs. Who knows, maybe they're lighter up here in Canada.

Our goal should be somewhere around 170, but its only around 165 or something....but it also has aluminium "strips" on the edges of the wood instead of steel

Ours weighs 172 pounds
Our goal weighs 172 pounds on what should be accurate scales, but as Clark said, it has aluminum angle pieces around the plywood where the 'official' material is stainless steel. With the SS, the goal would probably be around 180#.
