And my reasoning for having Shaker at 2 regardless of not winning an event was because at BAE they lost to the eventual world champion 610.

These are just my thoughts, you really can rank the second or third robot to whatever you want this year. The only absolute for NY is that Team 20 was by far the best as they usually are.
I gotta say, your definition of "best robot", Evan, is very interesting. Definitely unconventional. I find it extremely unfair to say the best robots are the ones who win events. My team, 1405, captained the Finger Lakes winning alliance (captains of 3003), but I would never in a million years say we were the best robot at the event, or one of the top teams in NYS for it. Many fantastic robots do not win events.

For New York, I would propose the following:

20: No contest here, 20 is hand down one of, if not THE, best robot from The Empire State. An incredible cycling robot, with a capable floor pick-up as well. With the improvements they had at IRI, I would have considered them one of the stronger robots at the event, were is not for unfortunate issues.

1507: One of the top NY teams from 2012 was off to a shaky start at FLR, with a half-functional floor pick-up that they wasted a little time trying to make work. But come Buckeye, the magic kicked in, with a more than decent +3 auto, and a cycling ability that dominated the tournament. Were it not for them having to bow out in Finals 2 due to technical failure, I would have bet on them as winners.

3015: Ranger Robotics has been such a strong team the past few years, but this year, they nailed it. #1 seed at FLR, #5 seed and Finalist in Virginia, they were truly a force to be reckoned with. At FLR, most thought them the sure-win, until they met the dominant defense of 48 and 1126.
