Map Coordinates on imported objects

My animation team and I have been working very hard for the last several weeks. Most of us are fairly proficient with AutoCAD, but none of us know very much about 3D Studio Max. Because of this, most of the students prefer to model in AutoCAD, then import the objects into the 3ds Max scene. So far, this strategy has been working very well and the scene looks great, but we've begun to run into some problems that we don't understand because of our lack of knowledge concerning 3ds Max.
This is our problem: When we quick render our scene, a message window appears that gives a list of objects in the scene that require "map coordinates and may not render correctly." If anyone can offer some help with this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
