Have any teams had success/experiences with the Google RISE (Roots in Science and Engineering) grant?

We applied in 2013 and were turned down. We are applying again this year.

Team 399 received the award in 2011, we have applied in following years but have not been selected since.

Team 3502 applied in 2012, and was rejected.
I think that in order to have a good chance at this award, your team/organization has to have a really good resume, because there are very few openings and many participants.
