Driveable 6 leg robot for < $100.

I was surfing my way through Kickstarter and came across this interesting Driveable 6 leg robot for under $100. I signed up for one, but unless another 2000 people sign up in the next few days it's not going to happen.

But now it's rekindled my desire for a walking bot. I've seen the CrustCrawlers, but they are pretty expensive. Anyone know of any inexpensive 6 leg robots?
