620 would WIN this competition easily. Every shot they took went up to the second level of the Pitt Peterson Center.

Re: Longest Frisbee Shot Challenge

We had a meeting about 2 months ago, trying to see how far we could shoot using the shooter setup we had at champs (1 cim directly connected to a pneumatic wheel, curved shooter) and we could shoot 3 pointers about 80 feet away. Also, I would like to see 4265 try this out. From what I saw, the fastest shooters could also shoot the farthest!

Re: Longest Frisbee Shot Challenge

Sorry for bumping an old thread but when I googled my teams name (620 Warbots) I was surprised to see this! For anyone that didn't see our robot at the competitions here's a small insight on it; it can shoot frisbees at 165 miles per hour, caused many bruises durring the build season, and could easily shoot a frisbee across the full length of a football field. It's also no taller than 3 feet, wore out the wheels that shot the frisbees nearly every 4 games, has bent the arena's metal safety bars, and has taken down the safety nets that surrounded the arena many times. Can't wait to see you all for the 2015 competition!
