Develop some kind of packet that talks about who your team is, what you do, etc. and how sponsors can help (give them an idea of what their money will be doing). Be sure to mention what you can do for the sponsors as well. Then talk to as many businesses in your area as you can; even the small ones - a little money is better than none at all. The worst they can do is say no. Also, you may want to talk to team members' parents about talking to their employers about supporting the team as well.
