Please Help 281: Vote for AJ Whittenberg!!!

For over 3 years, team 281 has had a partnership with AJ Whittenberg Elementary School of Engineering. AJ Whittenberg is unique because it operates with a STEM focus, and introduces engineering and robotics to children as early as 4 years old.

FIRST Team 281 has a unique partnership with the school because they built and maintain a robotic mascot for the school. This mascot, named AJ the Robot, shows kids how exciting technology can be. This robot greets them every day, attends school events, and even threw the first pitch at a baseball game this summer.

This past summer I made a short, documentary-style video about this school and it's partnership with FIRST Team 281 for the "This School's Got STEM" contest. The school that wins first place gets $1000. If AJ Whittenberg wins, they will give the money to Team 281 so they can continue to update AJ the Robot for years to come.

If AJ Whittenberg were to win this contest, it would be a great help to both the school AND Team 281. The prize money would help 281 continue to inspire the students with an awesome, robotic mascot, while the team members would get to learn more while building and programing AJ the Robot.

The bad news is that, as of right now, we are SUPER BEHIND in votes! We need all the people we can get to vote for this video!!!! You can vote once every 24 hours until September 5th

Here is a link to where you vote: https://www.facebook.com/southcarolinafutureminds?sk=app_289273564532559&ap p_data

Here is a video I made that explains how to vote, and will tell you some more details about the competition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlsLCdsng6g

And finally, here is a link to the video you will be voting for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcwUVBIGTGw

If anyone takes the time to vote, then THANK-YOU!!!!!!!! You help is extremely appreciated!

This is such a worthy cause! Everyone should vote! It doesn't take much time at all and it is SO WORTH IT!
