Giving away robot cart in SE Michigan

If you know of any team who can put this robot cart to use instead of ending up in a dumpster, please let me know.

The robot cart is based on an ATV Lift, http://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lb...ift-69995.html but it is the previous version that has a different paint color. We replaced the wheels so it moves better. We welded in some sheet steel around the base for batteries and storage space. We put wood on top and modify it each year to fit the robot.

The robot cart still works perfectly. I like it that it can go up and down to make it easier to work on the robot. However it is heavy and others on the team wanted to design and build a new one.

Team 2950 will take it! But can you ship it to texas. If so could you please check your private email on the chiefdelphi. It contains our contact info so you can email us and we can work out the specifics. Thank you so much for this!

I was thinking more about local pickup. It would be a lot of work to ship an item like this and it would cost over $100 just to ship. It does not make financial sense to ship this.

If you can make arrangement to pick it up, then let me know. Otherwise, it is first come first serve. It is actually sitting outside right now under a veranda. No appointment is needed to pick up. If you are interested, I will tell you where it is.

Our team can use something like this, but we reside across the country from you, so it would be impractical to ship it to PHX. Also, That's what HFT is for. Cheap and suckish parts to be tinkered with and made better. We have a bandsaw from HFT. Pretty cheap but nice quality. We did some adjustments and now it is just like one at least twice the price.

Mike,

I replied to your PM on where to pick up the robot cart. If you change your mind because it is too far, please let me know so another team can get it.

Ed
