Does anyone know if JC Penny will continue their support for sophomore teams this season 2014? Thanks.

From what I heard, they are withdrawing from sponsoring FRC this year. I'm afraid that we will all have to seek funding elsewhere.

New sponsors, Argosy Foundation is sponsoring Rookie teams (ONLY... I think). NASA will support sophomore team only if the team had received their grant as Rookie team or unless team is going to new regional. But there is no mention of JC Penny's support or the withdrawal. This is what I scavanged from US FIRST.

Not exactly. While JCP has withdrawn corporate level grants and sponsorship, teams are encouraged to seek out their nearest JCP store manager to see if sponsorship from the individual location is possible.
