running our robot, you better be able to get there faster than 4 secs. anything short of that you will have to push us out of your way.

I'm gonna have to say the Entire match, it all matters equally. There are a LOT more variables this year, especially when a ramp dom gets thrown in the mix. Even last year the whole match made big difference with some of the best teams in the arena. I remember a specific case between two of the LV teams vs. Team 60 (the guys who could **q*ing lift up two goals in be in scoring position in the first 5 seconds) and the other Vegas team.
Right from the get-go, we made sure to get the other goal, while the other opponent actually BROKE DOWN. Our buddies pushed the hunk of junk into our home zone, moved the team 60 mouse (tent poles) over into our home zone as well. This whole procedure took the entire match. Now imagine that instead of 3 goals, you have 11 stacks of boxes AND A HUGE OBSTACLE with many ways to get around it. True, these stacks can be knocked over or added to eachother, but the potential for on the fly strategy is still there. It's going to be a battle the whole way. |

You stole our gearbox from last year, and you don't think we improved it?? |

For that matter is it incredibly bright to say just how capable your robot is? I know it would change our strategy knowing our opponent could get a wall up in 4 vs. say 20 seconds. The four means we spill boxes on you, the 20 means we try to grap and run.

I hate to disagree with you but this is our design that we came up with. This is the same design as last year. We cut our own gears so for you to say we stole your ideas I would say you do not know what you are taking about. We been building robots for the past 9 years and we have help a lot of teams out with what we have done. So Please make sure you have the right information before posting a statement that we stole your ideas. Our kids are proud of coming up and making the parts to our robot. Quote:
We have been running our robot to make sure everything works well and our program works well. So this is why I know how much time it will take to do our task. We have a stop watch to test it. and we did it many times over. |

we tell other so it will give them something to think about. Becasue some teams might try the same thing but knowing someone is out there going faster does play a part. I don't think this is going to be the fastest robot. but I do think it will be close to the other. This is not the only thing we do. |
