Regardless of how few or how many browsers marquee works in, it's ugly. I've closed many-a-pages because they didn't appeal to me or had too much java applet's or marquee's. When I see a marquee, it's only good if it could be replaced or mistaken for by a gif. (Such as scrolling |NEW| next to something). Anything further (Such as school name, sponsors, team name, etc.) is blasphemous to web design as a whole. </2¢> |
