Is there any documentation to this end? Specifically, I'd be interested in a high level overview of how the application achieves certain tasks, but drilling down into the dense code base sounds not fun.

https://github.com/gregmarra/the-blu..._controller.py is the relevant controller. (I think) and https://github.com/gregmarra/the-blu...er/api_main.py is likely the other file you'd need to poke around to get started.

There also is a Google Group that is pretty well supported: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!fo...nce-developers.

If you need TBA API help, you are far more likely to find something there than on CD.
