BAE Grants 2014

Has anyone heard any updates as of late? My team had applied for this year, but we never heard anything.

We just now received notice that we have been awarded a grant for 2014. The amount is the same as last year, which as a 4th year team, we are more than happy with!

We just heard from them as well and we are also now backed by BAE Systems.

I didn't even know there was a grant for BAE systems. I didn't take part in much fundraising back on MAiken Magic either. I though we were a BAE team because we literally a stones throw away from their local Defense plant. Interesting stuff to see.

BAE has been a long time sponsor for Team 1729 and we've been tremendously grateful. Does anyone know if they are opening up a grant application for FRC teams this year? Our associated FLL teams have been in contact with them about grants but I haven't heard anything on the FRC side.

It doesn't reference a year, so it could be a leftover, but it wouldn't hurt to apply either way.

I know for a fact that they are open this year, my old team is applying once again. If you need more details I can get you in contact with them.
