I guess monkeys only learn how to use typewriters...

Do you have any dead monkeys?

Of course, if worst comes to worst, you can just put a monkey in a metal frame and teach it the game.

Only five weeks? That's your probem! You need to wait billions and billions of years.

We're still working on perfecting our Creation model for robot building. Under this theory we should be able to produce anything from nothing in six days. We're making progress, but since we start from the kit and it takes six weeks instead of six days, I'd guess we're only about 7% efficient at it.

Assuming you get your robot built, here's a recommenced exercise for the off-season. Make random changes to single components of your robot. Make this link longer, change that sprocket, shorten one frame piece, etc. Then observe how many, if any, result in improvements in your robot's performace. Just be sure you choose what change to make and what component to change in a random manner. A complete parts list and a random number generator will help with this. No fair making changes you observe to be needed or other wise want to make, that invalidates the exercise.
