Team 710 Palm Os Scouting

We will Be putting together a large scouting database together for our Regional competition ( UCF ) and ( if we make it to nationals for our division there as well )

It will be a Filemaker Based Database that will contain Field Statistics as well as Pit and gathered information

We will Also come up with a ranking system for classification of bot type

This will be different from firsts ranking system because we feel that QP average do not always display how efficient a bot is at doing its job

Rankings will also be able to be done by category and which bots might be best teamed with you ( That is still TBA whether it will happen )

The database will also contain Pictures of each teams robots and possibly video feed from matches they've played

We will use a combination of PDA's and laptops to do the scouting , and Information to those who as will be available

I haven't found anything in the scouting sections of the White Papers yet. For the palm os version of the scouting database, please make it freely available and customizable to teams without ads or things such as 'Brought to you from ___' in there... the palm screens are small enough as it is. I'll check often to see when your scouting database is available. I'd plan to use it at regionals extensively.

lol.. well the os info will all be hotsynced into our database when you want info you ask us for it.. and we'll give it to you :-)

and as for banners and advertisement.. It may say Team 710 BCS ( bot categorization system.. silly pun I know)

on the top but thats all.. in the Palm Software itself it won't have ne thing but the fields and survey statistics in it
