Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
What if the game was a triangle pool full of water and you had to push a game piece to the other end then take it out of the water. so like youd have to put the piece in the water and then push it to the end then take it out and put it somewhere else

Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
Also, a friend of mine (Kevin from 365) mentioned to me that no one has noticed that all the numbers are 16 bit numbers.

Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
Every number less than 65,535 and greater than zero are 16 bit unsigned numbers, so I don't know what to do with this information....

Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
8234 is the name of a main belt asteroid discovered in 1997. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/8234_Nobeoka
57 is the atomic number of Lanthanum, the first element in the lanthanide series, also known the rare-earth metals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Element_57 Rare earth metals are often found in asteroids and are a chief reason to mine them, thus the game might be related to asteroid mining. I'd also like to note that the hint is not marked as hint number 1, so it could be the first and only hint, OR there are hints before it! |

Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
If you take each digit in the hint and rearrange them in numerical order, you get
0111122223334556666667889 The middle number is 4, with twelve numbers on either side. This points to the 4th Doctor. Also, 0 and 9 appear with the same frequency as 4. The beginning and end together suggests some kind of circular game piece, which aligns with hockey pucks or inner tubes- discs, too, but we just had that. Or maybe the endgame will be autonomous, since autonomous was previously at the beginning- beginning and end together. |

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we have to displace objects and/or robots in order to score points.

Re: [FRC Blog] 2014 Game Hint
Make a program to print out each fraction to a few hundred decimal places and look for things that stand out?
I don't know, but they certainly look like fractions to me, that or a cypher. Plugging in those raw numbers into a google search or a coordinate system is FAR too simple for FIRST hints. |

5 digits and a mirrored number? http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Five_lette... wards#slide=2 Radar and Rotor stand out here. Might be of interest. Perhaps the digits stand for letters |
