Re: 2014 New York City Regional

The regional being later should mean a more advanced level of play than we usually have. 694 is looking forward to it.

You bring up an excellent point. I will honestly say I will be a little disappointed if something crazy doesn't happen in NYC this year.

That being said, I'll be honestly disappointed if on practice day there are people still trying to put together their robots, barring some sort of emergency like the Javitz Center's roof collapsed onto your robot (hopefully not but it wouldn't surprise me the least)

I think that will still happen. It will still be the first regional for some teams. And given the robot is in a bag for until then, teams can't fix problems even if they know what to do.

I do expect teams will resolve problems faster though. And that more teams will be able to help them get up and running.

Re: 2014 New York City Regional

So how's everyone doing? With build season...officially...wrapped up, attending teams are welcome to share your robots here.

A little more than a month to go. What are your plans until then?

Any volunteers out there that will be attending? I know I am, and am definitely looking forward to it!

Cherrie, I signed up to volunteer Friday-Sunday around a week or two ago and still haven't heard back. Do you know when the emails are going out about volunteer positions?
