Go to Post Looks very well designed. Now where is the "export to reality" button in the CAD software? (I have been looking for it for weeks). - sanddrag [more]

No Source in Netbeans

I downloaded netbeans and installed the FRC plugins. However, when I create new files, I can only view history, not source code.

It is similar to the error described here https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=233122, but there does not seem to be a conclusive solution.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Re: No Source in Netbeans

Can you post what the version of Netbeans, Java, and the operating system and version you're running?

Just wondering if this is only happening with a particular set of versions/platforms.

Thanks
Brad

I'm using Netbeans 7.4. I'm using a Dell laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise. I have a 64 bit operating system. My JRE is version 7 update 45. I can't tell what version JDK I have.

It isn't easy to take a snapshot of it, but I can't select source there, either.
I only see history in that menu.

Hmm very strange. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

I'm working on a school computer, so I had to obtain Netbeans using Software Center (a possible source of error). Without an administrator password, I can neither uninstall it, nor reinstall it.
